: : Am I wrong about this? I thought that strictly following the Swank diet was, in and of itself, enough to keep a person drug (interferon, steroids) free for the rest of their lives. But as I browse through the messages it looks like people are still needing drugs even if they follow Swank.
: : I follow Swank... and do a bit more than that... and am doing okay. No drugs. But it looks like I can't count on that. What's true?

: I only do the diet, supplements, stress control, exercise etc. I also see nutritionist (MSer 9+yrs) who does the same and get the John Pageler (MSer 35+ yrs) newsletter and information and both of them don't use drugs and do well.
: If they come out w/ something better and safer I may consider it. But for now it is 1 year symptom free!

Thanks for the reply, Nic! And how could I subscribe to the John Pageler newsletter? By the way, one of the reasons why I so profoundly do NOT wish to take drugs has to do with attitude: I do NOT want to become an 'MS Patient'. I wonder if I'm alone in this conviction?
Sincerely,
Colleen
