Just an idea-------------as I have traveled through the medical circus as a provider and as a patient with MS, I have found that often it is better to look for a generalist: family physician, internist, nurse practitioners,etc. I have been much more likely to find a provider who will work with me and even learn about the areas I am interested in. I know I am honored and have fun being the health-care provider to people who have specific wishes and really know what they want and who they are as human beings! Then we can refer to neuro. if needed - ie., when hospitalization 8is needed.
