In accordance with W3C web site accessibility guidelines, most of the text on this site is scalable. That means you can use your browser to adjust the size of the text to appear either larger or smaller.

If you have a Windows-based operating system and if you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, you can change the text size by holding down the CTRL button and scrolling the wheel up or down.

You can also change the text size manually. Here are some instructions to guide you.

NOTE: This only works on web sites with scalable text.



Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6.0
  1. From the menu bar at the top, pull down the View menu.
  2. Select Text Size.
  3. Choose from among 5 sizes ranging from smallest to largest.
Internet Explorer 4
  1. From the menu bar at the top, pull down the View menu.
  2. Select Internet Options.
  3. Click on the Font button that is near the bottom.
  4. Use the pull-down Font Size menu to select a new size. There are 5 choices, ranging from smallest to largest.

Netscape 6.0
  1. From the menu bar at the top, pull down the Edit menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Click on Fonts, which is listed under Appearances.
  4. Choose a font size from the options listed.
  5. Click on the desired font size from the pull-down menu.
  6. Click OK.
Netscape 4.0
  1. From the menu bar at the top, pull down the Edit menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Double-click on Fonts, which is listed under Appearances. (If Fonts does not appear, double-click on Appearances, which should bring up Fonts.)
  4. Use the pull-down Variable Fixed Font menu to change font style.
  5. Use the Size menu next to it to change font size.

AOL 4.0
  1. Under "My AOL" in the AOL Toolbar, select Preferences.
  2. Click on the WWW icon in the scrolling list on the left.
  3. On the right, click on Advanced Settings. A dialog box will appear with a collection of controls on the right and a column of options on the left.
  4. Select "Browser Display" on the left.
  5. You can now set the Text Size for more comfortable reading.
  6. Click the OK button in the Advanced Settings dialog box and then click the OK button in the Preferences dialog box.
